Battambang floods: Kinal Foundation sends nearly 2,000 boxes of medicines

On 7 October, PPM handed over six of its products to volunteer doctors helping flood victims in Banan district.

Anti-anaemia treatments, cold remedies, fever syrup, deworming medicines and anti-diarrhoeals: flood-hit residents of Banan district, in Battambang province, can now count on essential medicines donated by the Kinal Foundation. On 7 October 2026, Saket Seila, assistant to Dr Hay Ly Eang, President of the Foundation and Chairman and CEO of PPM and Confirel, handed over 1,978 bottles and boxes of PPM products.

The donation comprises six products: Fervital, Rhinex Day and Night, Panol syrup 125 g, Amibazol, Bibactin Fort and Mebentox. The medicines were entrusted to His Excellency Lieutenant General Professor In Suntara, Deputy Director of the Health Sciences Institute of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. He leads Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng's team of volunteer doctors in Banan district and will distribute the medicines to flood victims, who have been left without basic care in this difficult time.

His Excellency In Suntara thanked the Kinal Foundation, and Dr Hay Ly Eang in particular, who regularly supplies medicines to his team of volunteer doctors. He praised a gesture of solidarity towards all Cambodians, whatever their views and regardless of affiliation.
